Consignment Services Agreement
Overview Of Our Consignment Services
Auction Ink provides a trading card consignment service whereby we sell your trading cards to third party buyers through online platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, eBay, Whatnot and offline venues such as card shows. When a sale is completed, we charge a fee on the final sales price on each item or groups of items and remit the remaining portion from each sale to you.
Ownership
By submitting cards for consignment, you affirm that all trading cards are fully owned by you with no liens, judgments or other encumbrances against the ownership until such time as they are sold or disposed of.
Condition of Trading Cards
Trading cards shipped to us should be sleeved and in top loaders or one touches, unless agreed upon by us prior to shipping. We will notify you of any damaged cards received.
Exclusive Right To Sell
By utilizing our Consignment Services, you grant us an exclusive right to sell your trading cards.
Term Of Agreement
Each shipment we receive from you will be a separate agreement and end when all the trading cards in that shipment are sold, 6 calendar months have elapsed, or the Consignment Agreement for that shipment has been terminated by either you or us.
Sale of Trading Cards
Cards will either be listed on eBay individually at a 7-day auction with a starting price of $0.99 with no reserve set, or at a fixed price (with offers accepted). Unsold auction cards are relisted as fixed price at $5.99, with routine reductions until sold.
Unsold Cards
After six months, remaining unsold cards will either be sold as a lot, disposed of, or donated at our sole discretion, unless you request their return in advance. Return shipping is at your expense.
Termination of the Consignment Agreement
You may terminate the agreement at any time. Cards currently listed at auction must complete their auction. Any cards that have been listed and are unsold will be assessed a $0.75 fee per card before return, with you responsible for return postage.
Reservation Of Rights
Auction Ink reserves the right to: reject cards deemed inauthentic or altered; reject cards unlikely to sell for $0.99 or more; reject cards with uncertain ownership; and terminate a sale if shill bidding or other unethical practices are detected.
Fee Schedule
Fees are assessed on the final sales price only, excluding taxes and shipping:
$0.99 – $3.5050% of the sales priceNo listing fee
$3.51 – $9.9920% of the sales price+ $0.75 listing fee
$10.00 – $24.9918% of the sales price+ $0.75 listing fee
$25.00 and above15% of the sales price+ $0.75 listing fee
All cards are initially assessed a $0.75 listing fee. This fee is credited back to you when a card sells for $3.50 or less.
Unsleeved cards incur an additional $0.20 fee per card, unless previously agreed upon.
Your payout is available for disbursement 3 days after the buyer pays for the card.
